Ok, so you really want to know about Privacy and such. We'll stop with the wise cracks for a few minutes and give you the straight answers.
All information you submit is kept confidential as much as possible. When you sign up for an account you provide information like a Full name and location. This can be left blank or made up if you want, there are no restrictions.
In terms of email addresses (which I know is what you care about). Email is kept as confidential as possible. When you post rants and comments everything is posted according to what you chose your username to be.
We do not sell email addresses and we will do everything in our power to make sure that your email address is never available to others (this is the "our site got hacked" clause: we've done our best to set up good security and keep people who are not suppose to be there locked out. But nothing is fool proof and accidents may occur. If this happens then we will apoligize and do our best to make sure it never happens again). Hey I've had the same email address for over 4 years and I get over a 100 SPAM messages a day. It really sucks, I hate it just as much as everyone else.
Passwords, your password is encrypted, we don't know it. If you lose it we have to reset it and send it to you. Gives you that warm fuzzy feeling doesn't it? But just because we don't know doesn't mean you shouldn't have a good password. Letters, Numbers, Capitals and Symbols, a minimum of 8 characters and no real words. Definitly a good rule of thumb.
